DM LAW · SMS TERMS & PRIVACY
Effective Date: October 15, 2026
Limited use of text messages
DM LAW does not regularly use text messages to communicate with clients. Clients should not send text messages to the firm, as incoming text messages are not regularly monitored.
With your consent, text messages are primarily used to send existing clients reminders about deadlines or to assist with locating a client when meeting at court, mediation, or depositions.
For questions about your case, documents, or time-sensitive matters, please call 407-710-1917 or email douglas@dmlawfamily.com.
Your choice to receive texts
Providing a phone number or visiting this website does not, by itself, enroll you in recurring text messages. We ask for permission before sending informational messages. Permission for service messages does not authorize promotional messages.
You can choose phone or email communication instead. Consent to marketing texts is not a condition of purchasing legal services.
Frequency and charges
Message frequency may vary based on your interactions and service needs. Message and data rates may apply under your mobile carrier’s plan.
Stopping messages
Reply STOP to unsubscribe. You may also reply QUIT, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, REVOKE, or OPT OUT, or contact DM LAW to withdraw permission. A final confirmation may follow your request; further texts require renewed consent.
Getting help
Reply HELP for messaging-program assistance. For assistance from the firm, please call 407-710-1917 or email douglas@dmlawfamily.com.
SMS information and privacy
For text communications, we may process your mobile number, message content, and records of your permission and opt-out requests to communicate with you and manage your preferences.
DM LAW does not sell or share mobile numbers, SMS opt-in information, or text-message consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional use. Providers supporting message delivery may process information only as needed to provide that service, not for their own marketing. Other information-sharing provisions in our policies do not authorize sharing SMS consent for marketing.
Read our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions for additional information about website use and information handling.
Communicating about a legal matter
Texting DM LAW does not establish an attorney-client relationship. Representation begins only after conflict review and the firm’s agreement to represent you. Do not send confidential or time-sensitive case information by text. Incoming text messages are not regularly monitored; use phone or email to contact the firm. Text messages are not an emergency service; call 911 for immediate danger.
