I’ve mulled over different versions of this review I could’ve written, but the truth is that none of them reflect just how much freedom Attorney Douglas and his paralegal/office manager Lindsey have brought me.

Douglas was steadfast in fighting for me, unrelenting in all honorable aspects. He unknowingly created a newfound strength in me, I’ve learned to stand up for myself and remain unwavering when faced with a hostile ex spouse. He was transparent with billing, he advocated for me when I felt I could not. He will fight for you, I couldn’t imagine trusting anyone else with fighting for the best interests of my child. In representing my case he also helped me as a person along the way. He takes his cases seriously and to the heart, you’re not just another number in a file.

Lindsey, I swear I have never met anyone who was always, without fail, consistently a few steps ahead. I genuinely don’t think she made ever made a mistake on my case. Her and Douglas seem to share part of a brain because they were always on the same page. I don’t recall there ever being any confusion between them. If telepathy exists, they definitely have it.

Both make an amazing team. I couldn’t imagine not having them represent me. They are noble, witty, beyond informed, and unrelenting in their passion to help their clients. Even this review doesn’t do them justice, I thank you both for fighting for me.

Douglas showed up in a suit at my house just hours after we retained him. He gave us key advice, comforted my family, and helped manage a scary and quickly evolving situation with the police and DCF. He stayed with us past midnight.

After that evening, he took several late night calls to continue advising us and to help advocate on our behalf to DCF. I think he was crucial in helping them come to the right conclusion about our case.
